Compare the Condor 2 Awnex Floor Kit and the Condor Overland 2 XL Air Floor Kit to decide which rooftop tent floor upgrade fits your setup and budget.
Quick answer
Choose the Condor 2 Awnex Floor Kit if you need a modular floor for your existing Condor 2 Awnex system. Choose the Condor Overland 2 XL Air + Little Wing 270 Awning Bundle if you're building a complete overland setup and want a matched tent and awning.
What each option actually covers
The Condor 2 Awnex Floor Kit is a standalone floor upgrade for the Condor 2 Awnex systems. It is designed to fit Regular, XL, and XXL versions, but the fit is not exact for every setup. That means you should verify your specific tent dimensions before ordering.
The Condor Overland 2 XL Air + Little Wing 270 Awning Bundle is a complete package: the Overland 2 XL Air tent plus the Little Wing 270 awning. It includes a floor as part of the tent, but the bundle's main advantage is the matched awning, not just the floor.
The trade-off: modular floor vs complete bundle
If you already own a Condor 2 Awnex system, the floor kit is a low-cost way to add a floor without buying a whole new tent. It costs $111.75 (compare at $149.00) and works across multiple sizes, but you must check the fit for your exact model.
The bundle costs $3,513.60 (compare at $5,490.00) and gives you a full tent plus a 270-degree awning. It's a bigger investment, but it eliminates the guesswork of matching a floor to a tent you don't have yet.
Decision trade-offs
- Budget vs. completeness: The floor kit is a low-cost upgrade for an existing Condor 2 Awnex system. The bundle is a full tent-and-awning package at a higher price. If you already own the tent, the floor kit is the economical choice; if you're starting fresh, the bundle gives you everything.
- Fit vs. integration: The floor kit fits multiple sizes but not exactly for every setup. The bundle's tent and awning are designed to work together, though the tent opens opposite the awning. Verify your tent model before buying the floor kit; with the bundle, plan your vehicle layout to accommodate the opposite-side opening.
- Future flexibility: The floor kit can be used with different Condor 2 Awnex sizes, offering flexibility if you change tents. The bundle locks you into the Overland 2 XL Air and Little Wing 270 combo. Choose the floor kit if you expect to swap tents; choose the bundle if you want a matched, ready-to-go setup.
Product facts at a glance
- Condor 2 Awnex Floor Kit: Modular floor for the Condor 2 Awnex systems; one size fits Regular, XL, and XXL versions, but it will not exactly fit the floor area for all setups. You get a versatile floor that works across multiple tent sizes, but you must verify your specific tent model to avoid a poor fit.
Condor 2 Awnex Floor Kit - Condor Overland 2 XL Air + Little Wing 270 Awning Bundle: Bundle includes the Condor Overland 2 XL Air tent and the Little Wing 270 awning; the tent opens to the opposite side of the vehicle from the awning. This bundle gives you a matched tent and awning, but the side-opening relationship means you need to plan your vehicle setup carefully.
